<image:caption>The local environment we find ourselves in is a useful tool for us to gain deeper information of the astrological messages that pertain to us. In my location a snow storm blew in yesterday evening, signalling to me that it is not yet time to sprout myself or my dreams forth- I and my dreams still need time to incubate, germinate and build roots so that when I do bring them into the outer world I am solid in my footing for forward movement. Not pushing myself forward right now would be a radical action to take, and another radical action is to keep working on my foundation, refining my dreams and desires- sitting with them, bringing them into clearer focus, taking on and doing the tasks that would support the overall goals. It’s often too easy to skip these important and necessary parts, I am also reminded that to be radical also requires strategy and skill. What is the strategy that my desires need me to implement? This is the time of year when we are resting and with the daylight hours in the Northern hemisphere much shorter- we are more focused on the use of our time to get what needs done before we lay down for the longer rest of sleep. <image:caption>Scorpio in general is an intense symbol, and this New Moon is just that- Intense. This morning we woke to a heavy snow fall, the moment of this photo symbolized everything for me in a moment: Sky chakras, snow that at first glance could be mistaken for leaves filling in the trees, a headlight in the distance leading me to the way forward- a deep trust in that path as no path is carved out before. To be out before dawn, clearing a path before me, looking at the vast unknown ahead- my heart filled with excitement. Photo credit: Stephany Smith</image:caption>

      <image:title>About</image:title>
<image:caption>I have many curiosities and passions. My life’s journey weaves together Astrology, emotional intuitive development, reconnecting with nature and the relationship with self as a Soul. Every life is deeply complex, a unique story unfolding against the back drop of the universe. My story has taken me on a journey to deeply understand what self love means on a practical level. Going beyond taking a candle lit bath- there is nothing wrong with that! I chose to get really subtle into my emotions and the harmful ways I limit and punish myself, preventing me from living a deeply meaningful and thriving life. In order to learn about self love I also had to learn about respect, compassion, humility, desire, honour for myself and how to lovingly give that to others. I have had to accept that stumbling and falling are not the same as failure. In wrestling with the ‘About’ page, I decided to share the meaning behind this website for me. I wanted to create a space for myself and possibly others to share in their written musings. I love the sky and the earth, the above and below, the inside and outside of everything. Over the years, I found myself becoming more passionate about Astrology and the ways in which its symbology manifested in my life. So I began writing, a process which startled me as my pervious experiences with creative writing were challenging to say the least. The more I wrote about the Moon and her phases, sharing my observations of practical implications in my life, the more I fell in love with writing. Finding a way to put words to how I feel in itself is part of my healing process. Over time friends wanted to read these writings. Today, I touch into my fear with courage and will begin making these writings more globally accessible. I have back posted a number of these writings for you to take in and enjoy. Currently my writing style has taken on more of a formate appearance as I work through the time implications and restraints I have- honouring that sharing on a regular basis can be challenging. There will be other sections to come on this site. But as nothing is built in a single day, but always starts in a steps and stages. I would love to hear from you and get to know as well, Stephany Photography by Neil Smith</image:caption>
