One of the keywords for the Capricorn archetype is Discipline. The goal here is to plant fresh New Moon seeds of this feeling, while considering and healing old wounds that may block us from fully feeling a sense of Discipline within ourselves and in the world around us.
This is the time of year when the nights are long and cold clear, when Grandmother Moon is dancing with Father Sun, are we able to gaze deeper into the night sky, when we can relax our eyes earlier in the evening and later in the morning to witness the vast beauty above us in the heavens. This is the time of year when we are resting and with the daylight hours in the Northern hemisphere much shorter- we are more focused on the use of our time to get what needs done before we lay down for the longer rest of sleep.
